Tools Setup

You’ll use three tools together, each solves a different problem.

Terminal - discovery and fast wallet analysis

Best for:

  • top traders

  • holder distribution

  • early buyer identification

  • quick pattern recognition

  • alerts

Terminal is where most wallet hunting starts.

Think of Terminal as your radar — it tells you where to look.

Solscan - transaction verification

Best for:

  • raw transaction details

  • exact timestamps

  • contract checks

  • suspicious transfers

Use Solscan whenever something looks unusual and you want to confirm it on-chain.

If you can't verify it on Solscan, you shouldn't trust it.

Cielo - long-term wallet behavior

Terminal only shows around 30 days of wallet history.

Cielo fills that gap.

Best for:

  • long-term wallet performance

  • old positions and historical plays

  • recurring behavior patterns

  • wallet connections and relationships

Cielo shows who this wallet has been over time, not just what it did recently.

Quick takeaway

  • Terminal → find interesting wallets fast

  • Solscan → verify every move

  • Cielo → study long-term behavior

Use them together like a system, not as isolated tools.

Advanced insight

Experienced traders do not copy wallets. They use wallet behavior to confirm or challenge their own thesis.
